What exactly is the CIA's job & are they necessary to the united states or just more bureaucracy?
They come from the OSS from WW2. While the FBI deals with domestic issues, the CIA deals with international issues. They do some very shady stuff. They are needed in some way. Our intelligence communities aren't the best either.
